This stretch of Caribbean coast in Mexico, south of Cancun, offers delightful white sand beaches and warm turquoise waters. However, a stay here should be accompanied by visits to some of the excellent local adventure parks.
Xcaret, X-plore and Xel-Ha Ecological Parks provide abundant snorkelling opportunities and turtle and dolphin sanctuaries (as well as the unique excitement of snorkelling and swimming through semi-under ground rivers) whilst the magical island of Cozumel is famous world-wide for its coral reef.
Beyond the beautiful shore line you can also discover the atmospheric, ancient Mayan ruins at Tulum, also home to many resident iguanas, (or Chichen Itza further away) and the lush jungle within. We highly recommend Selvatica for their excellent zip wire adventures.
Sian Ka’an is a UNESCO protected nature reserve is home to a variety of local wildlife including wading birds alongside 23 known archeological sites.
