• Pool: Three swimming pools are available throughout the property.
• Winery: Cellar tours (approx. 20 minutes long) are available Monday – Friday at 11 am and 3 pm. A selection of the Lanzerac wines can also be sampled Monday – Saturday.

Bars & Restaurants

• The Governor’s Restaurant: Offering elegant a la carte dining at breakfast (including buffet), lunch (international buffet/carvery on Sundays) and Dinner.
• The Lanzerac Terrace: Providing a wonderful venue for al fresco lunch and dinner under the Oak trees with views overlooking the 175 year old Manor House and vineyards beyond.
• The Lady Anne Courtyard: Designed in a Mediterranean style, the restaurant is open during the Summer (weather permitting).
• Die Taphuis: The hotel’s cosy main bar, decorated in yellow-wood and featuring a large Cape Dutch kitchen fireplace.
• The Craven Lounge: Providing an intimate and gracious area enhanced by antiques, ideal for a relaxing coffee or pre or post dinner drink.

Rooms types

48 spacious rooms and suites, including 26 Classic Rooms (26 square metres) and 15 Luxury Rooms and 7 Suites are equipped with air-conditioning, under floor heating, mini-bar, tea & coffee making facilities, opening out on to private patios with views of the vineyards, mountains or gardens.

Family

• Classic Rooms are suitable for up to one child in a bed and one child in cot sharing with parents. Two rooms of this type are available on an inter-leading basis.
• Larger Luxury Rooms can accommodate up to two children under 8 or one child over 7. Three Luxury Rooms also share a private garden and shallow pool area, ideal for families travelling together.
• Suites can accommodate two children under 18 years with parents.

Rates

Rates from £134 per night per adult sharing, inclusive of Bed & Breakfast in a Classic Room (valid 01/10/11 – 30/04/12).
From 01/05/12 – 30/09/12 the rate is from £92 per adult sharing a Classic Room.

Family

• Child aged under 5 years free of charge.
• Children sharing aged 5 – 11 years charged at £50 per night, dependent on Season.
• Children aged 12 – 18 years pay between 25 – 75% of adult rate when sharing and 75 – 100% in their own room, dependent on Season.

Responsible Tourism

Prizes of meals and accommodation are donated to various local charities such as the Red Cross or local Rotary Club. The hotel carries out in-house training for local people, which is also monitored by an external agency.
