Overview

Cries of ‘I’m bored’ are likely to be abandoned for the duration of your stay, given the access to such a wide variety of facilities and restaurants! The hotels are most appropriate for families, offering several children’s clubs and family rooms.

Looking after younger guests

  • Toys and facilities of Sinbad’s Kids Club & Adventure Playground available during opening hours (please see below).
  • Beach and pool toys available for the fun of younger guests (subject to availability).
  • Guests booking Premium Leisure Club Rooms will also have access to a private lounge with facilities including a play area.

Babysitting & Supervised activities

  • Babysitting: Service can be arranged with advance notice.
  • Sinbad’s Kids Club and Adventure Playground: A spacious children’s club with great swimming pool / wet play area open 09:00 – 18:00. Supervised activities are offered for children age 4 years plus but younger children are also welcome when accompanied by a parent or babysitter.

Room types

All 292 rooms and suites, with separate sitting room, throughout the resort offer air-conditioning, satellite TV, mini-bar and tea & coffee making facilities as standard with balcony or terrace offering views of the waterways and windtowers or out to the Arabian Ocean.

Mina A Salam

The gateway to the Resort with views to the Arabian Gulf, accommodation incorporates locally inspired designs and the finest fabrics. Arabian Deluxe rooms (50 square metres) form the standard room type with Premium Leisure Club Rooms also benefiting from exclusive check in and private lounge. These private facilities can also be accessed by guests staying in the suites. Ocean Suites (115 square metres) also feature a spacious sitting/dining area with beautiful artwork. The Royal Suites (268 square metres) feature 2 very large bedrooms, lounge, office and balconies with magnificent views.

Al Qasr

Elevated to emphasise its splendour, Al Qasr is ‘The Palace’ at the heart of the Resort comprising of 292 luxurious guest rooms and suites. In addition to Arabian Deluxe Rooms (55 square metres) guests can book a Premium Leisure Club Room of the same size but with access to a private lounge which may also by occupants of the suites. Junior Arabian and Ocean Suites (80 square metres) have spacious open plan lounges whilst Arabian and Ocean Suites (105 square metres) have separate sitting/dining areas. The 2 Presidential Suites (180 square metres) offer 2 large bedrooms and separate lounge with large terrace whilst the breath-taking Royal Suite, a palace within the palace, incorporates 3 bedrooms, large lounge, separate dining area and 3 private lifts!

Dar Al Masyf

283 rooms and suites are arranged within Arabian summer courtyard houses, ideal for guests seeking additional private within itinmate enclaves yet with easy access to resort facilities. Gulf Summer Houses offer superb access to the beach whilst Arabian Summer Houses still benefit from a privileged location within the resort. Within each Summer House type, Arabian Deluxe Rooms (60 square metres) are located on the ground or first floor whilst Arabian Suites (120 – 130 square metres) are all located on the first floor to afford the best views. Ocean Deluxe Rooms (60 square metres) and Ocean Suites (120 square metres) are as their name leads you to believe, in an Ocean-front setting.

Family

  • Up to 2 children under 12 can share any room of suite within the resort on additional beds or sofa bed.
  • Alternatively 1 child age 12 plus can share with parents (subject to confirmation).
  • Rooms with communal lobby area available.

Rates

Rates from £144 per night per adult sharing, inclusive of Bed & Breakfast in a Deluxe Balcony Room at Mina A Salam (valid 09/06/12 – 13/09/12).

Family

  • Children under 4 years stay free of charge when sharing with parents, including breakfast.
  • Children age 4 + £15 breakfast charge.
  • Children in their own room charged full adult rates.
