• Land Activities: Complimentary bicycle for each guest and hiking and running trails available whilst hilltop meditation, yoga and pilates sessions cater for those seeking calm. Lessons including Calligraphy, Henna Painting, Date Palm climbing, the Arabic language and the Oud (Arabic guitar) are offered to those interested in submerging themselves in the local culture. Please note additional cost may be applicable.
• Watersports: Non-motorised sports available including snorkelling, kayaking, windsurfing, catamaran sailing and aqua aerobics. You can also hire your own private Dhow overnight! Please note additional cost may be applicable.
• Spa: Operated by the award-winning Six Senses Spas, offering 2 Hammams and 9 treatment rooms focusing on holistic wellness and rejuvenation (treatments at a charge).
• Library: Offering a wide selection of movies, music CD’s, DVD’s, books and magazines.
• Shopping: Artisan gallery for on-site purchases or scheduled trips to local villages, souks and Dubai shopping malls.

Bars & Restaurants

• Dining on the Edge: Perched high atop the mountains overlooking Zighy Bay, s stunning location offering unconventional menu styles and defining wines.
• Dining on the Sand: Located at the hub of all activity, the restaurant embodies rustic simplicity. Open for breakfast and dinner, guests are offered a variety of pan Asian, Middle Eastern and Continental flavours.
• Bites: Located by the Marina at the far end of the beautiful bay the restaurant features local seafood delicacies brought to you by an in house Fisherman, suppling the best catch every day.
• Chill: Sundowners and ice cold margaritas, wine coolers and cocktails make it just the place to be whether it is before or after dinner.
• Vinotheque: A wine cellar that encompasses a selection of some of the world’s best received wine varietals and wineries. Vinotheque also hosts regular wine tastings and wine and cheese evenings with our master sommelier.
• Zighy’s Deli: The place to be for a great light lunch, a tea or a flavoured drink through the day offering a selection of selection of Paninis, Croissandwiches and Focaccias.
• In-Villa Dining: Offering a 24 hour service including champagne breakfasts and private barbecue dinners beneath the stars.
• Private Dining Experiences:Private and exclusive dining at selected romantic venues in and around the bay. The Chef and the Sommelier assist you in making a menu to meet your personal needs and specifications.

Overview

Families with children not requiring dedicated facilities will enjoy sharing the stunning and tranquil surroundings. Villas can incorporate an additional bed for younger guests sharing with parents or larger villas with several bedrooms are also available.

Rooms types

Zighy has 82 uniquely designed air-conditioned villas offering full facilities including 24-hour butler service, oversized bath-tub with whirlpool jets, mini-bar, tea and coffee facilities, flat panel satellite TV, DVD player, walk in closet and safe. Private swimming pools are accompanied by Sundeck with loungers and an outdoor dining suite.

Pool Villas (247 square metres) present a studio design concept whilst Spa Pool Villas are a similar size but highlighted with a personal in-villa Spa within which guests can enjoy pampering treatments. Pool Villa Suites and Spa Pool Villa Suites (412 square metres) offer facilities as above but offer a separated bedroom and sitting room. Deluxe Pool Villas (334 square metres) and Deluxe Spa Pool Villas (334 square metres) are designed with the bedroom on the lower level and living area on the upper level with views of the mountain fjords that rise above the bay. Zighy Pool Villas (437 square metres) and Zighy Spa Pool Villas (437 square metres) are again split over two levels with stunning outlooks.

A supplement can be paid to guarantee a beach front location although the larger villas all have this benefit as standard.

Family

• Up to 1 child can share with parents in a Pool Villa or Pool Villa Suite (exceptions may apply in Low Season).
• Up to 3 children can share a Deluxe Pool Villa (converted in to 2 bedrooms) or Zighy Pool Villa with parents.
• Some interconnecting villas are also available on request.

Rates

Rates from £299 per night per adult sharing, inclusive of Bed & Breakfast in a Pool Villa (valid 01/11/11 – 20/12/12).

Family

• Children age 3-11 / 12 + pay £27 / £76 extra bed charge.
• Children under 7 will have meals free of charge.
• Breakfast charge for children 7 – 11 / 12 + of £9 / £18
• Children in their own room pay full adult rates.
