Delicious dinners and cooling drinks are served in the impressive main building which offers indoor and outdoor lounges, or around a blazing fire in the boma.

Overview

Tuningi is one of the very few Lodges offering interconnecting suites. These also include a large sitting room, creating exceptionally spacious family accommodation.

• Children under 6 generally have a special early boma dinner with the chef (or this can be served in your room).

Babysitting & Supervised activities

• Babysitting: In-house staff providing baby-sitting services for younger children whilst parents are on drives but this is subject to a charge.
• Children age 6 and above can join the adult game drives at Dawn and Dusk.
• Special game drives for children under 6 years after breakfast (who are too young to join the adult drives) and story telling/treasure hunts in the afternoon.

Safety

• Animals: The lodge is fenced.
• Water: There is a swimming pool on site.

Rooms types

4 Luxury Bedrooms, with interiors themed on ‘Colonial African Chic’, offer air-conditioning, outdoor showers, private decks and fireplaces for chilly nights. For those seeking privacy, Little Tuningi comes with a pool and private vehicle (number of suites dependent on requirements).

Family

• 1 child under 12 can share a Standard Bedroom.
• 2 Family Suites offer cavernous accommodation with 2 en-suite bedrooms, sitting room, kitchenette and large private deck for parties of up to 6.
• Little Tuningi , comprising of a Family Suite and additional Standard Bedrooms if required, is ideal for extended or several families traveling together.

Rates

Rates from £368 per night per adult sharing, on an All Inclusive Basis (valid 01/11/09 – 31/12/10).

Family

• Child under 2 years free of charge in a cot.
• Children aged 2 – 11 years pay 50% when sharing a Bedroom with parents.
• Family Suite charged at 4 x adult rates.
