Bars & Restaurants

Local, fresh ingredients are used when in season including those from the large, organic kitchen garden. Meals are varied affairs and may include picnics in the bush, dinner under the stars, lunch on the terrace, and al fresco breakfasts and brunches. A wide range of beverages are available and wines are quality South African estate wines.

Safety

• Animals: The Reserve is not home to big cats or elephants and so is safe for children and adults alike to roam unfenced!
• Water: The Swimming pool is the only deep water on the site.

There are 5 luxury en-suite bedrooms, 3 with private balconies.

Family

• Rooms are all within the main house so effectively ‘inter-connect’.
• There is also an additional children’s bunk room if required.

Rate from £220 per adult sharing inclusive of all meals and activities on the (valid 01/11/11 – 31/12/12 on Non-Exclusive basis).

Please note there is a minimum nightly rate of £1,517 for Exclusive Use of the Lodge for either a couple or up to a group of maximum 8!

Jembisa is strongly committed to responsible tourism, supporting several programmes working to uplift local communities through education and healthcare. The owners founded the local HIV/Aids and welfare organisation in 2000 which has grown to include orphan support, schools support, counselling and testing in the local township and rural areas. Recently a hospice has been opened and the current project is to raise funds for a youth centre and basketball court.
